Plumbing - L2 Diploma (Adult)

Our 2 evenings a week Level 2 Plumbing Course offers adult learners an in-depth, practical experience in a variety of plumbing practices, including pipe cutting, threading, bending, and fitting. You'll have the opportunity to use the latest tools and materials, learning in industry-standard workshops.

This course is designed to provide you with the hands-on skills and knowledge needed to excel in the plumbing industry. Whether starting your career or looking to enhance your expertise, this course equips you with the practical experience required for success.

    • Health and safety in building services engineering
    • Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering
    • Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing
    • Common plumbing processes
    • Cold water systems
    • Dometsic hot water systems
    • Sanitation
    • Central heating systems
    • Drainage systems
    • Understand how to communicate with others in building services engineering
  • Entry Requirements

    You must:

    • Be over 19
    • Have 4 GCSEs at grade 9-3 (A*-D), including English and Maths, OR
    • A Level 1 qualification in a related subject.
  • Assessment

    Online multiple choice tests and practical workshops

  • Moving Forward

    Apprenticeship in Plumbing or employment

  • Duration

    1 Year

  • Delivery

    This course is taught on Monday and Wednesdays at 5.30pm-8.30pm

  • Cost and Loans

    You will be required to purchase your own safety boots, but all other materials will be provided
