BTEC Level 3 National in Creative Media Practice (Film, TV & Sound) focuses on developing practical skills for careers in film, television and audio production. You will explore how moving image and sound are used to tell stories, communicate ideas and engage audiences.

Through practical workshops and creative projects, you will learn how to research and develop ideas, plan productions and create media content for different platforms. You will develop technical skills in filming, sound recording and post-production while also building professional skills such as teamwork, project planning and communication.

Practical work may include filming short productions, recording and editing audio, developing visual narratives and producing content in response to creative briefs. Throughout the course you will build a portfolio of work that demonstrates your creative and technical abilities.
